Oh Dad you would have loved the day !!! The weather was perfect!  The venue looked amazing. Me, Mam and Robyn became great at searching through charity shops to find things to upcycle for table decorations.  Alex and Karl were sick of their lives and quite rightly avoided shopping with us!  I also think that Amazon have made a fortune from various bits an pieces we have bought. Robyn asked me to make her bouquets, based on the fact that I had made a couple of paper flowers for the Hawaiian night I had a few years ago. Can you remember Mam's outfit for that?   well I even recycled that for the photo booth.  Robyn has learned that she is actually more creative than she thought, she made a fab floral decoration as the centrepiece for their top table.  The colour scheme was burgundy and gold, so regal we have named their wedding the Royal wedding.  We all know that Robyn was always your princess!  Alex had the honour of walking Robyn down the aisle and 'throwing' her away!  I think he raced down it so he could get her room. Dad he was so proud and looked every bit the man you knew he would be x I really hope you were their in spirit to see them xxxx

Mam looked stunning. She wore a beautiful cornflower blued lace dress with yellow accessories, you would have definitely been proud of her.  She had a couple of 'medicinal' Norwegian brandies which warmed her up from the inside.  It was just so lovely to see her relaxed and happy. She'd been on the hen night so all the girls love her and were chattering away to her.

Jason is an outstanding photographer Dad.  Oh my god his photos are totally stunning and so natural.  Robyn and Michael said today that they should have just hired him. He had taken so many truly amazing shots of the wedding but the trouble is there are not many of him!!!  You really would be impressed by his work.  Karl has been ace, putting up with all the paper folding and curling to make the flowers.  Tolerating the jibba jabba about the wedding when secretly he is incredibly proud of Robyn and Alex.  He says they are his surrogate children.  He made a bespoke stand for her bouquet which you can tell was made with love.  On the day Stephen did his speech and acknowledged both Ian and Karl's contribution in Robyn's life and I feel that this was the right thing to do.  He was very honest about that.  I even did a bit of a speech, weirdly I found myself being a bit nervous and didn't really know what to say, so I just spoke from the heart!

I really hope you got to see your little Sweetheart and Best Pal walking down the aisle together.  Alex has a lovely girlfriend and I sincerely hope he is as blessed as his sister to find love.  You never know we might have another wedding in the future xx

I will always love and miss you but I know you will never be far away xx  love you loads xx Tracey
